Corey grew up in Bruce County, leaving to attend Western University. Upon graduation with a degree in Kinesiology Corey went to the birthplace of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa to study. Following graduation he spent a year to attain his Fellowship in Pediatric Chiropractic. The next 20 years of practice and continuing education there has been a sharp focus on movement. Certifications awarded have been centered on core Chiropractic principles.

These include; SFMA, DNM, IASTM & NKT distinctions.

Christy graduated from Lakehead University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and a minor in Gerontology. In 2006, she graduated from Queen’s University with a Masters of Physical Therapy. Over the past 8 years she has worked in private clinics, retirement and long term care.

Christy has been a Physiotherapist at Colhoun Family Chiropractic since 2015. Throughout her career, she has completed diplomas in acupuncture, lymphatic drainage and soft tissue release, which provide her with a variety of options for treating pain, mal-alignment and swelling issues. Christy is a Level 1 certified Neurokinetic Therapist, and has also completed several courses in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy which allow her to treat a variety of male and female pelvic floor conditions including incontinence, pelvic pain and pelvic organ prolapse.
